Pascale Bigot

Pascale says she has a lot of imagination.

With the pastels that she mainly uses now, she especially loves the fact that she uses her fingers to blend the colours. The direct contact with the medium is a big part of the enjoyment for her. There is no subject that she wouldn't do as long as she likes it and she can visualise it as a simple drawing.

Pascale tries more and more to simplify the lines of her drawing and to keep the essence of the shapes. After the drawing she plays with the colours, in different shades of one colour like the nudes, or bright varied colours with gold and mixed media techniques like the Carnivals.
